Family Fav - Spag Bol

I don’t think I have come across a family that doesn’t love a good Spag Bol! Now this is my base go to recipe, but depending on what I have in the fridge to use up and our budget, we will quite often bulk this out with extra veg or beans.

Making it a simple, cost effective, family fav!

Ingredients

1 Brown Onion Diced

3 Cloves Garlic Crushed

2 grated Carrots

2 grates Zucchinis

1 Green Capsicum Diced

1 Red Capsicum Diced

2 tins Diced Tomatoes (or fresh)

1 tbsp. Tomato Paste

3 drops doTerra Italian Oil Blend

150mls Bone Broth

2 tbsp. Vegetable Stock Paste

1 large Jar Tomato Passata

500grams Beef Mince (optional)

Salt and Pepper to taste


Method

  • In a large saucepan or pot, add oil, onion and garlic and cook till soft.

  • Add meat and cook until browned, and the water has evaporated.

  • Add all other ingredients and turn heat down to low and allow to simmer for 25 to 50 minutes

  • Enjoy on your favourite pasta or pasta alternative
