Pork and Apple Rissoles
Ingredients
500 g pork mince
1 granny smith apple cored finely chopped large skin on
1 brown onion finely chopped
1 spring onion finely chopped
1/2 carrot grated small
1 tbs parsley finely chopped
2 tbs sweet chilli sauce
1 egg
1 pinch salt
2 tbs oil
1 cup dried breadcrumbs *optional
Method
Mix all ingredients, except oil and breadcrumbs, together in a bowl. If mixture is too wet, use stale breadcrumbs to bind together
Roll mixture into balls and slightly flatten.
Cook slowly over a low to medium heat in a little oil.
Serve with a simple salad or veggies for a simple quick, cheap meal!
