Lavender

Today we want yo challenge you to try both Lavender + Frankincense!

Why these guys you ask?

Because these two really are centuries tried and tested oils with so many uses between them it's not funny!

Now you have learnt about Frank [yesterday from Kelly] and Lavender [today from Nicola] here are a few ideas for you:

Add a drop of frankincense to your face lotion or BB creme and apply to your face and neck

Diffuse frankincense [we found one drop really powerful] either alone or with wild orange for a boost to your mood

Rub 1-2 drops frankincense diluted on the back of your neck and behind your ears to promote feelings of wellbeing

Rub 1-2 drops frankincense diluted on the bottom of your feet for immune support

Take one to two drops frankincense in a veggie capsule to support healthy cellular function

Mix 1-2 drops lavender (and/or frankincense!) with your hand lotion to help promote supple skin during dry times of the year

Try a drop of lavender diluted on a skin irritation (such as a minor burn, abrasion, or bug bite)

Diffuse lavender [again it's strong, start with one drop] during the dinner/bedtime witching-hour and notice if your normally-crazy children mellow out a bit

Use lavender to promote a restful night’s sleep. Rub a few drops diluted on the bottom of your feet, on your wrists, behind your ears, or even place a drop on your pillow or the top edge of your sheets!

Bonus: If you have children at home, spend a few extra minutes with them at bedtime and rub a drop of diluted lavender on their feet or spine. If you have a spouse or partner, offer a foot massage and share the benefits of more restful sleep with your loved ones. (Did that sound like a commercial?? It kind of felt like one as I was writing it… )
